In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our geospatial software products. You will be responsible for testing new features, identifying bugs, and contributing to the overall improvement of our mapping applications. This position requires a strong understanding of geospatial data and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans and test cases for geospatial software applications.

Conduct functional, regression, and usability testing. Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA.

Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues.

Analyze geospatial data to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Stay up-to-date with the latest geospatial technologies and testing methodologies.

Participate in Agile development sprints and contribute to team planning.

Perform data validation and verification.

Create and maintain test documentation.

Requirements :

At least 3-5 years of proven experience in software testing, preferably in the geospatial domain.

Proficiency in ArcGIS and QGIS.

Experience with JIRA for bug tracking and project management.

Strong understanding of geospatial data formats and concepts.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
