Finance Manager (Construction)
Industry: Construction Industry (Civil & Marine Engineering)
Location: Bukit Batok
Report to: Managing Director
Salary: Up tp $6,500 with AWS, Variable Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full set of accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Lead financial and management reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Ensure adherence to internal control procedures, including financial and operational policies.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, and coordinate the submission of tax returns with external consultants where applicable.
- Manage the Finance Team, ensuring the smooth flow and timeliness of financial operations.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support effective planning and resource allocation.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, cash flow, and project performance to provide actionable insights.
- Partner strategically with top management and Heads of Departments (HODs) to align financial goals with company objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry (civil and marine engineering).
- Experience in overseeing intercompany transactions, consolidations, and financial reporting for multiple business units
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior management and various departments.
