What You Will Do
- Lead the team in liaising with repair suppliers to ensure quality, performance, turnaround time and prioritization of orders to supports engine delivery schedule.
- Implement strategies to ensure repaired parts are available to meet the engine build schedule.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations team on the implementation of new repair suppliers and external repair capabilities.
- Work with Production Planning & Control to develop mitigation plans for parts that cannot be delivered by repair suppliers.
- Lead the team to meet targets and goals for quality and on-time delivery. Drive root cause analysis when targets are not met.
- Manage material flow and inventory to achieve cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Lead and supervise team members to develop them towards a self-directed and multi-skilled workforce through planned skills training.
- Ensure compliance with standards; promote CORE (Customer Oriented, Results & Excellence), EH&S and Ethics culture within the team.
- Interface with various business functions such as Operations, Engineering, Quality, Customer Support, Finance and HR to achieve team goals and company objectives.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management with supervision.
- Proficient in the use of SAP and Microsoft office application e.g. MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- Good working knowledge of aircraft/engine parts application to perform mitigations to long TAT parts, spanning over extension of serviceability, in-situ repair and new repair solutions.
- Highly motivated and self-directed. Able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with strong leadership and business acumen.
- Able to work with all levels of management and in a fast-paced, matrixed reporting organization.
- Good team player and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair of gas turbine engines.
- Experience in monthly/quarterly materials forecast based on engine inductions to develop.
