
MuleSoft Senior Developer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Create and utilize patterns and frameworks as part of an overall software architecture blueprint
Foster Relationships and become a trusted partner and advisor of Customers
Provide guidance on programming feasibility, alternate functionality, and performance considerations
Ensure requirements are complete and accurate, estimate effort, design, develop and unit test solutions
Develop and Test MuleSoft API solutions on MuleSoft v4
Support Customer solution code releases and testing phases through to Production Go-Live
Provide timely status updates to project leadership
Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology
Build on inventory of existing IP to create / manage and extend new service propositions
Participate in pre-sales activities with the Business Development Managers
Providing Quality and Control Assurance checks for Customer engagements
Be proactive, take accountability and ownership of assigned tasks to meet commitments to clients and colleagues on time and of quality
Demonstrate teamwork by proactively assisting other team members across projects, sharing knowledge and contributing to team meetings and events
Become an industry advocate and thought leader, publishing content and presenting at MuleSoft Meetups
Internal Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to Capgemini principles, values and code of conduct at all times
Participate and contribute in management, team meetings and improvement initiatives
Assist with hiring and recruiting efforts by identifying prospective hires and participating in screening and interviewing activities as needed
Provide timely and accurate execution of administration processes (Timesheets, Expense Claims, personal assessments, company assets etc.)
Develop and execute goals and objectives to increase your skills in your profession, industry, category, technology or other area of business need to ensure you maintain client valued skills for future engagements
Ensure your Profile and Skills Matrix are kept up to date
Continually and proactively seek feedback from peers and Customers alike to support personal development
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement across our methodologies, IP and internal processes/operations
Requirements:
5+ years working experience with relevant integration tools such as middleware, ETL / MDM, API Gateway
MuleSoft experience with MuleSoft Developer Certification is highly preferred
Experience with Cloud Hub 1.0 and 2.0
2+ years experience developing integration and API solutions from API definition specifications
Experience using data weave for simple to high complexity data transformations
Optional experience in either WebMethods, Tibco or IBM WebSphere
Be experienced in process decomposition, process/ data analysis, scoping, optimisation
Highly experienced with standards-based technology JSON, REST, XML, Web Services
Familiarity with Java/J2EE technologies
Prior experience in a consulting or pre-sales role
