As a Specialist, Recruitment, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging and hiring for positions across SMRT, from non-executive to managerial positions. You will partner hiring managers in identifying the best-fit candidates; and be a trusted advisor to candidates, guiding them through the recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Work with HR business partners to determine the recruitment demands and requirements
- Partner hiring managers in the recruitment efforts by understanding their requirements and provide advice when required to identify the best-fit candidates while ensuring fair employment opportunities for all candidates
- Manage and execute the entire recruitment process - from managing job advertisements, sourcing for candidates, interview arrangements, to offer, acceptance and ensuring candidates complete and clear their pre-employment checks
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline
- Provide a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint
- Monitor recruitment metrics and continuously enhance processes to optimize and increase productivity and quality of candidates
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives and represent SMRT at recruitment fairs and events when required
- At least 3 years of experience as a recruiter, either in-house or with agency
- Preferably with prior experience in both large scale recruitment of non-executive positions and sourcing or headhunting candidates for executive and managerial positions
- As you will be required to support Bus Captain recruitment where we receive high volume of Chinese-speaking only candidates, proficiency in Chinese is a must
Technical skills include:
- Familiar with the different recruitment channels and platforms for attracting and sourcing candidates (e.g. JobStreet, LinkedIn)
- Familiar with SucessFactors and its Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Good knowledge of Singapore’s labour laws and legislations as well as Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with different levels
- Self-motivated, energetic and able to multi-task and work under pressure to achieve targets
- Delivers timely, accurate and high-quality work regardless of work situations
- Strong team player; open to share knowledge and experiences and learn new ones from the team
- Able to identify gaps to improve recruitment processes for maximum workflow efficiencies
