The ideal candidate will have significant experience in conducting materials research and development activities for thermal management used in the semiconductor / electronics industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development activities related to thermal material science for the semiconductor industry.
- Design and execute experiments to investigate material properties and behaviors.
- Plan executable timeline and methodology for projects and update management
- Analyze data and present findings to the team and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new materials for various applications.
- Develop and optimize material processing techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in material science and technology.
- Prepare and present technical presentations for events / conferences
Skills and Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-15 years of experience in research and development of thermal interface materials development used in electronics and semiconductor industry
- Strong knowledge of material characterization techniques and analysis methods.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (DOE, minitab, 6 Sigma) and data interpretation.
- Publication & patents related to thermal interface materials application
- Experience with thermal simulation software and tools and material simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical information effectively.
