Job Description
We have partnered with a multinational company to search for a strong commercial person with experience in Marine, Offshore and Shipbuilding space
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop more business to meet individual and company annual targets,
- Understand client's commercial and technical requirement,
- Take part in preparing bids for tender projects in the region,
- Have weekly meetings with Sales Director to review weekly sales reports
- Organize meetings with customers to keep them engaged to company's Operations
- Achieve weekly activity KPI's through meetings / calls / offers
- Provide advise to customers through information on products and prepare offers using Products and Services Portfolio
- Advises and helps customer make the right selection by building customer confidence, offer suggestions and provide opinions
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Participate in industry or promotional events (i.e. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
- Identify areas or products that sales team can do a promotion on or organise marketing activities for customers
- Actively use marketing tools and social media to maintain contact with customers
- Assess sales performance (review company targets- monetary and non monetary key performance indicators) on a weekly basis and consider corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years or more sales experience in the Shipping, Marine & Offshore,
- Commercial experience in the Shipbuilding space and/or having experience in selling marine services,
- Previous exposure to the Renewables Offshore market could be a plus.
