We are currently seeking aSenior Manager, Asset Liability Management (ALM)to join our team at one of the leading global insurers. This is a key role within ourCapital Management and Liquidity Managementfunctions, where you will play an integral part in shaping the strategic direction of our risk management practices. As a Senior Manager in ALM, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business, including the ALM Committee, to drive effective decision-making and ensure robust Financial Risk Management (FRM) oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage theAsset Liability Management (ALM)function, ensuring alignment with the company's financial strategy, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert support inCapital ManagementandLiquidity Management, ensuring optimal capital allocation and maintaining liquidity to support business operations.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, including the ALM Committee, to provide insights and recommendations on asset-liability strategies and risk management.
  • Monitor and assess financial risks related to assets, liabilities, capital, and liquidity, ensuring appropriate modeling and forecasting practices are followed.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of ALM models, ensuring they are up to date and reflect changes in market conditions, regulatory frameworks, and business strategy.
  • ProvideFRM oversight, ensuring the company's financial risks are identified, managed, and mitigated effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, investment, and finance departments, to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of reports to senior management and key governance committees.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experiencein ALM, investment management, or related actuarial/financial risk roles within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strongactuarial backgroundwith significant experience inALMorinvestment management, with a solid understanding of financial and capital markets.
  • Proven experience withfinancial modelingtechniques and the ability to apply them to real-world ALM and capital management issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Strongteam player, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence key decisions.
  • Experience working with and supporting senior committees, such as theALM CommitteeandFRM governance.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, capable of navigating complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and their implications on ALM, capital, and liquidity management.
