  • Adecco is partnering with a multinational corporation Semiconductor company to search for a Procurement Specialist
  • Focus: manage and optimize the global supply and inventory strategy, ensuring timely procurement, supplier performance, and alignment with organizational targets.
  • Office location: Singapore, North
  • Working hours: 5 days’ work (Monday-Friday) Office hours

The Talent

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply planning, or supplier operations.
  • Experience working directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing environments and supply continuity planning.
  • Strong command of Excel and working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Bonus: experience with process automation tools like Power Automate or RPA.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

Partner with cross-functional teams to support and execute global supply and inventory strategies for new programs.

  • Ensure consistent supply throughout HVM transitions, hitting targets like weeks of supply and inventory continuity.
  • Process purchase orders (POs) based on stakeholder requirements and demand planning.
  • Liaise with suppliers to secure on-time deliveries, proactively escalating critical delays.
  • Monitor supplier performance on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly) using defined KPIs.
  • Report on key metrics for ASEs and QBRs, including On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Service Level Satisfaction.
  • Communicate procurement goals, initiatives, and execution plans to internal stakeholders and supplier partners.
  • Support ongoing process improvements and explore automation tools like Power Automate or RPA to boost efficiency.
  • Strengthen collaboration across procurement, category management, and operations to optimize global supply.
  • Identify and close gaps in supply chain processes, ensuring a customer-centric, solutions-first approach.
