
Junior / Entry-Level Desktop Engineer (Singaporean Only)
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Junior / Entry-Level Desktop Engineer to join our IT support team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to build their careers in desktop and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktop hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop equipment and operating systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user accounts, email, printers, and network connectivity.
- Support IT asset management including inventory tracking and equipment lifecycle.
- Assist with equipment setup, relocation, and disposal as needed.
- Carry desktop equipment (e.g., PCs, monitors) up and down stairs in areas without lift access.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support as required.
- Maintain documentation of support activities and user requests.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must possess a valid IT certification
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and respond promptly to user needs.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Basic knowledge of IT security and data privacy practices.
