Key Responsibilities

As Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the Costing, Account Receivable and oversee accounts payable and tax related submission process, work with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your expertise will help drive seamless financial transactions in Singapore and other countries.

  • Costing - inventory reconciliation, weekly close job and involve in physical inventory counts
  • Accounts Receivable Management – Manage Accounts Receivable including collection,cash application, credit limit, dispute resolution and manage scrap invoicing.
  • Accounts Payable Management – Oversee AP recording and streamline process. May requires to handle inventory related transaction invoices, match against PO, DO and enter into JBA system and in line with authorisation matrix and payment and concur claims.
  • Fixed Assets Management.
  • Handle month-end closing activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and accruals.
  • Reconciliations & Reporting – Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, update Oracle, intercompany invoices, monthly JEs, Daily Metrics and other adhoc request.
  • Prepare quarterly GST returns and ensure timely submission.
  • Support audit, tax, compliance reporting and EDB reporting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Process Improvements – Identify and implement efficiencies to enhance accuracy and productivity.
  • Assist to monitor and review internal controls effectiveness and ensure compliance.
  • Any other tasks assigned from time to time.
  • Payroll - Support HR on OT computation for Production.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounting and finance or a similar role at least 5 years.
  • Full set of accounting and Cost accounting skills and knowledge with manufacturing working environment experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience with JBA and Oracle report advantageous.
  • Driven, passionate about learning and developing new skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willing to participate in continuous business maturity projects alongside other members in the finance team and wider organisation through business operational improvements and/or technological solutions to increase efficiency.
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting / Finance.
