THE COMPANYRichemont Luxury Singapore is a fully owned subsidiary of Richemont and is the platform on which some 14 Maisons conducts operations in Singapore and coordinates their business for the whole South-East Asia and Oceania which is currently comprised of 6 direct markets (Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, New-Zealand and Vietnam as well as Singapore) and export wholesale markets within ASEAN.THE POSITIONBased in Singapore, the Head of FP&A oversees the financial monitoring of SEAO business performance of all Specialist Watchmakers Maisons with a key focus on planning, monthly actuals, investment requests and cashflow management.The role requires solid people management skills as it is also responsible for all aspects of managing the SWM FP&A team, across all areas of the employee life cycle from recruitment to learning and development. The Head of FP&A is the Finance Business Partner dedicated to one of the Watchmaking Maisons, closely partnering with its Managing Director, as well as being responsible as the cluster coordinator for the business entity.The role provides overarching support to all the team members who work autonomously to achieve their goals for their assigned Maisons.This position reports to the FP&A Associate Director, SEAO and is a senior leader within the APAC and SEAO FP&A communities, driving FP&A initiatives, promoting best practices, and elevating professional competencies within the Finance function.The position has three direct reports based in Singapore (Business Partners dedicated to two Maisons each) and 1 functional report in Oceania.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Safeguard the assets and resources of the Group by maintaining the independent view of Finance in business decisions.
  • Owner of the SWM budget and forecast processes for SEAO. Jointly with the controllers' team, the individual will act as the key contact between Maison HQs and the 6 markets within the SEAO sub-region (SG, AU, NZ, TH, MY and VN), to drive financial planning and monitoring of targets and KPIs.
  • Support Maison EXCOs to build their annual strategic plan.
  • Monitor business and cost trends across markets, analyse financial impacts of budget/ forecast deviations, and recommend corrective measures, if any.
  • Drive insightful analysis and financial visibility to enable strategic and operational decisions (e.g., investment decisions such as CAPEX and Marketing & Communication expenditures).
  • Promote financial discipline within the Maisons, ensuring the quality of the financial forecasts and compliance of corporate finance policies.
  • Streamline tools and processes where possible.
  • Development, career and succession planning, retention and recruitment of team members.
  • Support cross-Maison FP&A initiatives by bringing functional efficiency and elevating the quality of reporting and financial monitoring.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
  • A university degree from a recognized tertiary educational institution
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Controlling/ FP&A
  • Experience in leading small teams and managing direct reports
  • Strong business partnering skills with commercial stakeholders (market Managing Directors and various commercial departments)
  • Previous experience in a matrixed organisation is highly valued; experience in retail industry is advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP and ANAPLAN is beneficial
  • Good understanding and experience in BI applications (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud) are a plus
