The Lead Manager plays a pivotal role in driving and shaping Tasek Academy and Social Service’s children and youth developmental programmes to achieve outcomes aligned with the organisation’s mission and long-term goals. This position combines strategic oversight with operational excellence. In particular, it requires evidence-based programme design, evaluation, staff mentorship and the ability to foster a collaborative and empowering organisational culture.

As the main in-charge for Tasek Sailors (Football), the Lead Manager oversees the football programme, ensuring it integrates positive youth development principles to support participants' holistic growth. The role also involves representing Tasek in strategic discussions and partnerships, advocating for the organisation’s mission, and building meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Lead Manager will carry out football programmes and plan their expansion along the lines formulated in Tasek documents which set out Tasek’s wraparound mentoring approach, embodied in the Tasek Method.

In the spirit of collegial leadership, all decisions will be made in discussion with other Senior colleagues, and always with the General Manager. Ultimate reporting will be to the Chair of the Programmes Sub-Committee of the Board.

The ideal candidate will possess conviction in Tasek’s mission of uplifting those with disadvantage, strong leadership, strategic thinking, and programme management skills, and the ability to inspire growth, promote collaboration, and deliver measurable social impact.
