The Sales Operations & Events Specialist role combines administrative support for sales operations with event planning and execution responsibilities, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales materials, generating reports, and maintaining client databases.
  • Plan and execute events from conception through to completion, including venue selection, logistics, budget management, inventory management and post-event evaluation.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including securing permits, coordinating vendors, and overseeing event setup and breakdown.
  • Innovate marketing strategies to promote events, including social media campaigns and print materials
  • Develop weekly to monthly schedules for employees based on manpower availability and event location demands.
  • Ensure smooth event operations on the day of the event, including managing staff, overseeing delivery of event items, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with event stakeholders, including sponsors, vendors, speakers, and attendees.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and industry trends to effectively support sales efforts.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools, such as inventory management and project management software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
