Job Description
- Lead and mentor a team of engineering specialists in DC development, including new technology research, design, and construction methodologies.
- Drive site selection, project team formation, and engagement of consultants (e.g., M&E, C&S, Energy) to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead efforts in improving DC efficiency, sustainability, and energy performance, with a focus on lowering PUE, WUE, and carbon emissions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare business cases and ensure on-time delivery of DC projects.
- Oversee the recruitment of top engineering and project management talent.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation within the engineering and development teams.
- Contribute to strategic planning with other departments (Operations, Finance, etc.) to meet business objectives.
- Manage the performance of project managers, engineering managers, and energy managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering, with at least 10 years in Data Centre development and management.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Strong M&E background with expertise in design, fault analysis, and complex engineering solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and financial management skills.
