Through in-depth understanding of material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques, the Machinist will be in-charge of raw material machining with the use of machinery tools.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Responsible for machining raw material to OEM parts to print dimensions using machinery tools including but not limited to engine lathes, manual drills, horizontal bandsaws, VTLs, milling machines or radial drilling machines.
  • Interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) per part drawings.
  • Handle simple maintenance of the equipment and machines under preventive maintenance program.
  • Support depot repair services activities for the control valves and handle ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Responsible for personal safety and for the safety of others. Must maintain excellent housekeeping standards
  • Adherence to all safety, quality, and environmental rules and regulations.

  • Mechanical related qualifications with 3+ year of experience in a machine shop and assembly activities.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Welding knowledge in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) preferred.
  • Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems is strongly preferred.
