Job Description:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in ocean freight, with a focus on cross trade logistics and key trade lanes.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on Asia Westbound and TPEB ( Trans-Pacific Eastbound) markets.
- Develop and maintain customer portfolio and facilitate business growth
- Deliver sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to management on a regular basis. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new trends and customer needs.
- Initiate, develop and source for new business / potential clients
- Execute strategic sales plan incl. trade and route development
- Optimize Service Quality
- Achieve joint sales targets set
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in Logistics & Container Shipping Industry
- Experience in import/export and cross-trade
- Develop and execute trade lane strategies in collaboration with global and regional product teams.
- Experience dealing with Singapore SME company will be a advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
