Cloud Project Manager (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage cloud project plans, ensuring timely delivery of cloud infrastructure and migration initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with technical and business stakeholders to align project goals with organizational needs and ensure successful adoption of cloud solutions.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks and mitigation strategies, ensuring cloud migration and implementation challenges are effectively managed.
• Budget & Cost Management: Monitor project costs and ensure cloud services are optimized for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Vendor & Partner Coordination: Work closely with cloud service providers, third-party vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Cloud Migration & Implementation: Lead cloud transformation initiatives, overseeing system integration and infrastructure deployment.
• Process Optimization: Develop and implement best practices for cloud project management, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure that cloud projects adhere to compliance, security, and governance requirements.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain project documentation, track progress, and report on key project metrics to senior management.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years focused on cloud migration or cloud-based projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS) and experience managing enterprise-scale cloud migrations, particularly in Azure environments.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure components such as Active Directory, VMWare, Windows Server, Linux, networking, and storage solutions.
• Familiarity with API management, microservices, and system integration methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management frameworks.
• Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear recommendations.
• Experience working with large datasets and understanding cloud performance optimization.
