What the role is:You will be part of the team based at Pulau Ubin, where you will play a crucial role in managing the island's infrastructure, services, and community relations through meaningful engagement with our kampung villagers and community partners.What you will be working on:- Conduct house visits to understand villagers' needs and address municipal issues- Coordinate with government agencies to facilitate nation-wide initiatives for the Pulau Ubin community- Develop and implement community programmes with community partners for villagers- Manage Temporary Occupational Licenses and Tenancy Agreements- Maintain data records and reports for community engagement activitiesWhat we are looking for:- Background in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.- Experience in driving and enhancing engagement programmes, with skills in public outreach, stakeholder management, facilitation and engagement- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with various stakeholders- To effectively communicate with Pulau Ubin villagers during home visits, proficiency in Mandarin/Malay/local dialects is essential- Enjoy working in an outdoor environment- Willing to work after office hours, on weekends and public holidays when requiredOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified.
