We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.Job ResponsibilitiesChange Management Team under Client Tax unit is looking for an experienced Tax project manager with not only good and solid understanding of the regulatory requirements of FATCA/CRS/QI but also the relevant advisory experience /expertise regarding the application of the regulatory requirements in the BAU world. The candidate is expected to possess the experience in risk managing non-compliance of FATCA/CRS/QI and to recommend solutions to close any gaps in the existing control framework. The successful candidate will participate in relevant regulatory projects/programs relating to FATCA/CRS/QI in the bank.This role will be responsible for supporting the following:
  • Identify need for change requirements and its Business Sponsor(s) for operationalization of the changes
  • Determine the implications of the regulatory changes and assess how such changes will affect the BUs/SUs eg process change leading to system change
  • Communicate requirements to relevant functions/Front-to-Back on system enhancements
  • Perform first level sign off on regulatory requirements on system enhancements (bank wide and BU/SU specific)
  • Participate in the Data Quality Monitoring & Remediation Program to be commenced in 2025 and to continue with the BAU maintenance tasks relating to the program after the Program completion in 2026.
  • Participate in Project Caesar Phase 2 - a multi-year/multi-streams/multi-functions project to be completed in 2027. Upon completion, the candidate is to participate in the roll out of the project to all locations outside SG
  • Provide advisory support to BUs/Sus/GMET/GETO in relation to regulatory requirements and regulatory interpretation for system enhancements
  • Provide advisory support to technical training before project goes live
  • Provide advisory support in relevant training materials in relation to system enhancements
  • Act as Deputy for the Head of Change Management
Job Requirements
  • Degree holder with
8 years of relevant experience in the banking and finance sector, with strong strategic, analytical and project management skills. * Subject matter expert on FATCA, CRS and QI in the End-to-End process with relevant technical skills
  • Manage complex project with minimum supervision and find innovative ways to deliver with good problem-solving skills
  • Apart from having strong project management skillset, the candidate is to demonstrate effective communication skills with all levels of stakeholders, including senior executives and able to find solutions where stakeholders have differing views on both approach and impact
  • Able to prepare and present to senior executives with appropriate level of information/duration
  • Able to switch from detail to big picture seamlessly
  • Effectively manage project to scope/schedule/budget and challenge respective stakeholders as needed
  • Build and foster a collaborative working environment amongst project team members both in SG and in other locations
  • Define measure of project success
  • Attention to detail, good prioritization, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
