Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the organisation's WSH procedures to promote a safe work environment.
- Conducts incident investigations and identifies cases of non-compliance with organisational procedures and legal WSH requirements.
- Evaluates risks associated with the hazards identified in the workplace and reports progress of corrective and preventive actions undertaken within nominated areas.
- Perform safety audits and inspection of work sites to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
- Identify and recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
- Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to the WSH team on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
- Coordinate and correspond with external agencies, MOM, SCDF, etc. on WSH related issues/matters.
- Minimum Specialist Diploma in WSH.
- Minimum 3 years’ WSHO experience.
- Experience in the implementation of OHSAS 18001 or ISO 14001.
- Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure.
- Previous experience in LTA - MRT projects preferred.
- Good Communication skills and interpersonal skills.
