Senior Technical Analyst (MBR) - Contract
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of Master Batch Records (MBRs), GMBRs, PMBRs, ESP, and PVL using Werum PAS-X for pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing processes.
• Create and configure equipment integration blocks for automation platforms (e.g., DeltaV), including development of state diagrams for material and equipment flow handling.
• Translate business requirements into MES configurations through analytical review and consultation with process stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant and robust MES solutions that align with regulatory requirements and business needs.
• Serve as L2 support for MES applications, resolve issues, and coordinate with vendors for long-term fixes.
• Apply ITIL-aligned processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management in the support environment.
• Guide and mentor a team of MBR modelers and MES engineers through technical obstacles, code reviews, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership on product design, implementation strategies, testing methodologies, and performance optimization.
• Train end users and manufacturing operators on new or updated MES functionalities and equipment integrations.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in MES systems with strong exposure to Werum PAS-X in life sciences or pharmaceutical industries.
• Bachelor of Engineering or similar relevant education background.
• Proven experience in MBR modeling and configuration of library elements, equipment, and material handling.
• Hands-on experience with DeltaV equipment integration and designing state diagrams in MES workflows.
• Solid understanding of GMP-compliant manufacturing processes for both API and Biologics.
• Experience in technical leadership, including mentoring, task delegation, and solution design.
• Proficiency in managing and resolving L2 support tickets, incident analysis, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based support practices – Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively between business, IT, and support teams.
• Knowledge of other MES platforms or automation tools.
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge for MES customization and troubleshooting.
