Our client is an International MNC providing solutions to the marine and industrial sectors. Currently hiring a hands-on and proactive talent to oversee full spectrum of Finance & Accounting responsibilities for a Singapore portfolio.
Requirements
- Degree qualified with more than 5 years of experience in managing full Finance & Accounting portfolio in the commercial sector (AP, AR, GL, cash flow management as well as financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting)
- B2B industry exposure
- MUST: Ability to look at cash flow management, ensuring prompt management of invoices
- Proven experience in driving process improvement and/or supporting system initiatives
- Monitoring of project performance and partnering business leaders
- Experience in project accounting / review of contract terms can be helpful (or an interest to pick up these skills)
- Traits: Hands-on, independent, proactive, organized, process driven, team player, ability to question and be a partner to senior management
Budget
Circa SGD 5,500 to SGD 7,000 per month
Job Scope
Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be responsible in managing the full spectrum of Finance & Accounting responsibilities for a Singapore portfolio, including month end closing, cash flow monitoring, invoicing, preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, internal control and supporting in forecasting and budget projections. You will ensure that daily transactions such as GL, AP, AR, invoices, vendor statements and so on are processed and managed on a timely and accurate manner. In addition to statutory requirements and supporting audit and tax, you will also manage financial analysis, and support business stakeholders and senior management in tracking and analyzing business and project performance.
You will proactively look into process improvement, support new initiatives and any post-system implementation activities.
The successful candidate is someone hands-on, proactive and independent. Experience in managing cashflow is highly essential.
