Global Technology Product Head, Health
We are seeking an experienced Global Technology Product Head to lead the delivery of a large-scale technology transformation programme for our Health business. This role is critical in driving the end-to-end delivery of our strategic technology and digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and embedding agile ways of working across teams.
You will work alongside the Head of Product Strategy and Head of Technology, managing the delivery, roadmap, planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement across both Group and Market teams. You will be responsible for overseeing governance forums, managing expectations, structuring teams effectively, and ensuring successful collaboration with consultancies and third-party partners.
This is a highly visible and strategic role that requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of modern technology stacks, and expertise in agile programme management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Leadership & Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale technology transformation programme for the Health business. Define and drive the programme roadmap, milestones, and execution plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities. Establish strong delivery mechanisms to manage scope, risks, dependencies, and programme health. Champion agile methodologies and ensure their effective application across all teams. Drive execution rigor by implementing best-in-class programme management frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.).
- Stakeholder & Governance Management: Act as the key interface between Group, Markets, Product, and Technology teams, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities. Manage expectations at all levels (C-suite, business leaders, and delivery teams) by providing transparent reporting and regular updates. Run and participate in governance forums, steering committees, and decision-making sessions. Ensure that Group and Market teams are aligned and accountable for delivery outcomes.
- Financial & Budget Oversight: Own the programme budget, ensuring effective cost control, forecasting, and resource allocation. Oversee vendor and third-party partner contracts, ensuring value for money and high-quality delivery. Manage commercial negotiations and performance reviews with external consultancies and technology providers.
- Technology & Agile Delivery: Work closely with the Head of Technology to ensure the programme is built on a modern, scalable, and secure technology stack. Ensure seamless integration of new technology with legacy systems, leveraging best practices in enterprise architecture. Promote agile ways of working, ensuring that teams are empowered, cross-functional, and delivering iteratively. Drive the use of data and insights to continuously improve delivery effectiveness.
- Team & Vendor Management: Organise and structure cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring optimal collaboration and clear accountability. Oversee the engagement of consultancies, system integrators, and technology partners, ensuring their deliverables are aligned with programme objectives. Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring teams are motivated and aligned with the broader business transformation agenda.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Essential: Proven experience as a Programme Director or Senior Programme Manager, leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience in agile delivery frameworks and driving agile at scale.
- Expertise in managing multi-million-dollar budgets and large, complex stakeholder environments across Group and Markets.
- Ability to drive programme governance, risk management, and issue resolution at an executive level.
- Strong understanding of modern technology stacks, cloud platforms, and integration architectures.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with experience managing C-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and structure cross-functional teams, ensuring strong execution discipline.
