Job Description:The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on code understanding and generation for software systems. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof HUO Yintong from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.Candidate's core responsibilities are:
  • Analyze the current capabilities of code generators
  • Collect and a comprehensive webpage dataset spanning mobile app UIs and desktop UIs
  • Implement multimodal large language models in code generation problem
  • Refine the generation results based on software development practices
  • Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in programming
  • Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python and Java will be positively considered
  • Sufficient working knowledge of artificial intelligence and software engineering
  • Good analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
