
Regional Operations Executive / Freight Forwarding MNC
Our client is a Freight Forwarding MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Regional Operations Executive to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central.
Job Responsibilities
- Support logistics and shipping operations as an on-site liaison at the client’s location.
- Plan and forecast shipments based on expediting reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers for cargo collection and identify suitable shipping options.
- Collaborate with overseas offices to obtain freight rates, make bookings, and track shipments.
- Handle freight bookings and secure rates from carriers.
- Prepare import/export permits for customs clearance.
- Prepare and issue quotations and invoices to clients promptly.
- Assist with tender preparations and submissions, coordinating with local and overseas offices.
- Prepare project cost reports, including P&L per shipment.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Min NITEC/ Diploma/Degree in logistics / supply chain studies or equivalent
- Min 3 years’ relevant working experience in freight forwarding
- Proficient in Microsoft Office would be advantageous
- Willing to travel overseas
