job detailsabout the company ...Our client is a well established foreign Bank, currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist (1 year contract) to join the HR team.about the jobReporting to the Payroll Manager, your job scope includes but not limited to:
  • Process monthly payroll, including New Hires, Leavers and Employee Life Cycle changes
  • Preparation of all payments outside the normal pay run for post pay payments i.e. tax and termination salary
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of payroll and general ledger related reports
  • Assist in documentation of all key payroll related procedures with periodic reviews to ensure internal and regulatory requirements are maintained
  • Adhere to payroll governance process and perform 4-eye checks (based on segregation on duties across the different team members)
  • Assist payroll manager, supporting the team for payroll processing activities as required
  • Manage employees' payroll queries including providing relevant advisory
  • Participate in country / regional initiatives on alignment and payroll processes, sharing best practices across regional payroll teams
skills and experience required
  • Education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is ideal
  • Ideally at least 3 years of experience in full cycle payroll processing
  • Experience in ADP/SAP system would be advantageous but not a requirement
  • Meticulous and good with numbers
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of all payroll related legislation requirements for Singapore
