We focus on equipping our Legal Associate with strong legal skills and practical case management expertise which are essential for legal practice. We believe in offering plain and practical advice to our clients and we train our Legal Associates to do just that.
As a Legal Associate, you will gain exposure to a wide array of high-quality work handled by leading lawyers in their respective fields. As a firm, we celebrate the varied interests of our lawyers outside of work and encourage our lawyers to pursue them.
What we look for
We are looking for a Legal Associate for our Shipping and Commodity Trading practices with a strong academic background.
The candidate should have interest in both contentious matters (including marine casualties, vessel damage, charterparties, and bills of lading) and transactional matters (in particular, ship financing and sale & purchase agreements).
Fresh graduates with no prior working experience are welcome to apply. Candidates with a masters’ degree in maritime law from Singapore or any other common-law jurisdiction (such as England and Wales) is preferred.
The candidate should be proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese (reading and wiritng); any additional language skills would be an advantage. The Legal Associate will be based in Singapore.
