Job Description:The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on AI for Software Engineering. The candidate will be part of an active research team to be supervised by Prof. David Lo from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.Candidate's core responsibilities include:
  • Design and implement AI for software engineering solutions
  • Conduct evaluations and/or user studies to validate the effectiveness of the algorithms and tools
  • Write and publish research papers and present them to reputable academic conferences
  • Package the documents, implementation code, evaluation results of the project for release
  • Liaise with other team members of this project to realize the overall goal of the project
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems from a top-tier or local university
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in Software Engineering research
  • Publication of at least one first-authored, top-tier conference/journal paper in Software Engineering venues
  • Excellent knowledge about software engineering research
  • Excellent knowledge about AI
  • Highly fluent in programming
  • Competent in designing and implementing algorithms and data structures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
  • Able to work under strict deadlines
