Manager, Communication & Marketing

Salary: $4,120 during three (3) months’ probation; Upon confirmation, $4,320 and eligible for a $450 quarterly bonus.

ACRES is seeking a Communication & Marketing Manager.

We’re looking for someone who believes in the mission of ACRES and has exceptional drive for furthering our fundraising efforts as well as strategizing and delivering on new ones.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies across social media, website maintenance, fundraising programs, events, and supporter engagement initiatives
  • Conceptualize, plan, and deliver high-profile fundraising events, including ACRES Open Houses and Gala Dinners.
  • Maintain a vibrant social media presence through regular content updates and creative campaigns
  • Cultivate relationships with foundations to secure grant funding
  • Oversee the ACRES merchandise shop, ensuring listings are current and appealing.
  • Collaborate with the Outreach team to identify fundraising opportunities tied to education and campaign programs.
  • Formulate and achieve fundraising targets.
  • Conduct quarterly performance evaluations and recommend bonuses for team members
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with team members to track project progresses and task updates for the above departments.
  • Provide status updates to CEO, by working closely with the team members on programme/project implementation.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings and periodic staff gatherings to stay up to date with the organisation’s activities and programmes.
  • Prepare annual action plans for the advocacy departments, for review and approval from senior management and the exco by the 15th of December.

Ensure that annual action plans are kept up to date with progress, through the To-do app and/or the word document.

Review and vet all written and visual materials for ACRES, not limited to social media write ups and changes, website, newsletters, emailers and other published collateral.

Manage the email by replying and/or forwarding to relevant person in charge.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Certification, diploma, or similar qualification in fundraising.
  • Proficient in donor management systems (Salesforce, MailChimp, Charity Portal).
  • Experience in writing grant proposals, press releases, and fundraising letters.
  • Confidence in public speaking.
  • Able to work in the office at least three (3) days a week, with a two (2) days Work-From-Home, and on weekend when required (off in-lieu hours applicable). You may need to return to office for meetings/events on WFH days, when needed.
