
Regional Senior HR Business Partner
Job Description
The Senior Business Partner plays a pivotal role in bridging People & Culture (P&C) strategies between the Global HQ and the APAC region. This position is instrumental in aligning global P&C initiatives with business objectives, fostering employee engagement, promoting an inclusive organizational culture, and enhancing organizational effectiveness across diverse teams and regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership:
- Act as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor to Sales Directors at the Global HQ and the Regional Head of People & Culture, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between HQ and the APAC region.
- Provide expert guidance on organizational design, change management, succession planning, and employee engagement while aligning with the overarching global P&C strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with HQ cross-functional teams to integrate P&C considerations into global initiatives, leveraging expertise in international HR regulations, cultural sensitivity, and retail-specific nuances to drive project success.
- Serve as the representative for the international team, ensuring their needs and priorities are addressed within the Centers of Excellence (COE) at HQ.
Global Project Leadership:
- Oversee the implementation of global P&C projects outlined in the roadmap, coordinating across multiple locations and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive the application of performance and potential reviews globally, fostering a unified understanding of talent assessment frameworks.
- Champion global career management, including talent identification, skill development, and succession planning, while enabling mobility across regions.
Knowledge Sharing and DEI:
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among international teams to leverage best practices, enhance communication, and promote synergies across borders.
- Lead the worldwide implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategies, embedding these principles into organizational culture and practices.
Operational and Expansion Support:
- Support the establishment of professional P&C functions in new locations, contributing to organizational growth and operational excellence.
- Provide tender support by integrating P&C strategies into proposals, showcasing the organization's commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing workforce.
Decision-Making Authority:
- Exercise autonomy in shaping HR policies, driving cultural initiatives, and influencing organizational change to align with global business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in HR, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, ideally in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role, within an international and retail-focused environment.
- Deep expertise in strategic HR principles, with the ability to apply them in global contexts to foster organizational growth.
- Business fluency in English, coupled with strong intercultural competence and the ability to navigate diverse teams and regions.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, combining structured and analytical thinking with adaptability.
