Project Manager (Civil Engineering)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead and oversee civil engineering projects, particularly in infrastructure, sewer & drainage, and roadworks. The ideal candidate will have extensive local experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet key milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Prepare and present progress reports, documentation, and project updates to internal management and external stakeholders.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all engineering works align with company quality assurance and control policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) or Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience , with a strong portfolio in infrastructure, sewer & drainage, and roadworks projects.
- RE (Resident Engineer) or RTO (Resident Technical Officer) certification is added advantages.
- Prior experience with LTA (Land Transport Authority) or PUB (Public Utilities Board) projects is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Deep understanding of local codes, regulations, and civil engineering best practices.
