- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, HITRUST) and implement secure authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, JWT).
- Optimize application performance and scalability for handling large volumes of medical data and real-time patient monitoring.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and accessible healthcare applications for clinicians and patients.
- Work with cloud-based healthcare infrastructures, particularly AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS, Fargate, DynamoDB, CloudWatch) to deploy and maintain applications.
- Support and maintain existing healthcare applications, troubleshooting bugs, improving performance, and adding new features based on user feedback.
- Integrate AI and machine learning models into clinical workflows to enhance predictive analytics and automated decision-making.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation and best practices.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in healthcare technology.
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (Python, Java, C#, .NET, Node.js).
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) for building healthcare applications.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, web services, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
- Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM, X12, SNOMED, LOINC).
- Familiarity with database technologies, including relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments.
