Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead and oversee the financial operations of leading health and wellness company in Singapore. You will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and process improvements, working closely with the leadership team to drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including monthly and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, forecasts, and analysis for management.
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax, audit, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
  • Recommend and implement financial controls and process improvements.
  • Support fundraising and investor reporting if required.
  • Lead and mentor a small finance team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience,cideally with at least 2 years in a managerial or controllership role.
  • Experience in service industries (health, fitness, ,wellness and hospitality) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Spotlight,QuickBooks) and Excel.
