Job Description

Job Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Accounts Receivable functions
  • Daily cash settlement, ensure sales reports and settlement tallies
  • Perform day to day data entry of accounts, maintain proper records of payments and receipts
  • Co-ordinate to ensure completeness of journal entries; supported with the necessary documents
  • Monitor and take follow up actions for outstanding debts and bills
  • To compile and prepare monthly accounting reports
  • To ensure all filing is done in timely and accurate manner
  • Perform timely month end closing of accounts and bank reconciliations
  • Assist in year end closing and ensure timely processing and closing of accounting functions
  • Assist in audit matters
  • In charge of invoicing, sales coordinate, retail operational support
  • Responsible for overall administration activities of the retail operations
  • Ensure outlet operation is well communicated with office
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, handling outlets/customers’ enquiries
  • Manage office supplies to ensure optimum level are maintained especially for general stationery and pantry supplies
  • Work closely with other department in resolving all admin/ accounts related issues
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/ Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central or ERP accounting software is preferred
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail, ethical integrity, analytical skills, and proficiency in financial regulations
  • Must possess initiative and able to work independently with positive attitude
  • Able to perform multitasks in order to support and assist the department on a daily basis
  • Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment
  • Able to work well under pressure
