    Manage the maintenance, repair, and optimization of AV equipment to ensure longevity and peak performance.
    Develop and implement proactive procedures for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Event Support:Plan and coordinate AV support for internal and external events, ensuring smooth execution at both college venues and off-site locations.
    Oversee the setup and operation of AV equipment for events, ensuring technical reliability and a professional atmosphere.
    Provide on-site technical assistance and resolve any issues that arise during events.
  • Classroom Support:Ensure that AV equipment in classrooms is fully functional and available for faculty and student use.
    Collaborate with faculty to assess their AV needs and provide tailored support.
    Conduct training sessions for faculty and staff on how to effectively use AV systems.
  • Staff Management:Lead and supervise a team of AV technicians, ensuring the delivery of efficient and high-quality AV support.
    Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of AV technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
    Develop and implement performance standards and ongoing professional development for AV technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field (such as Audio-Visual Technology, Engineering, or similar) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience:
    3-5 years of experience in AV technology, with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong technical knowledge of AV systems and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to resolve issues quickly under pressure.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
