  • Prepare daily sauces and necessary ingredients for service.
  • Submit stock and supply requisition forms for approval from the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Keep the kitchen and all equipment, along with freezers and chillers, clean and organized.
  • Assist with the preparation and cutting of meats and vegetables as needed for daily operations.
  • Track food inventory levels and inform the Head Chef or Sous Chef of any shortages.
  • Ensure storerooms and kitchen areas comply with hygiene regulations from the Ministry of Environment.
  • Properly clean and store kitchen tools, dishes, and utensils.
  • Secure the kitchen by allowing access only to authorized personnel.
  • Report any incidents or accidents to the Head Chef or Sous Chef
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as requested.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • GCE 'N' Levels or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hospitality sector.
  • Competence in both western and local cuisines.
  • Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
