- Prepare daily sauces and necessary ingredients for service.
- Submit stock and supply requisition forms for approval from the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
- Keep the kitchen and all equipment, along with freezers and chillers, clean and organized.
- Assist with the preparation and cutting of meats and vegetables as needed for daily operations.
- Track food inventory levels and inform the Head Chef or Sous Chef of any shortages.
- Ensure storerooms and kitchen areas comply with hygiene regulations from the Ministry of Environment.
- Properly clean and store kitchen tools, dishes, and utensils.
- Secure the kitchen by allowing access only to authorized personnel.
- Report any incidents or accidents to the Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as requested.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
- GCE 'N' Levels or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hospitality sector.
- Competence in both western and local cuisines.
- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
