What the role is:You will be part of the dynamic team dealing with marine incidents, conducting search and rescue and enforcing the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act 1996 and its accompanying Regulations within the Port of Singapore and Singapore Waters.What you will be working on:As a Port Inspector, you will carry out enforcement duties at sea independently. You will be rostered for shift duties and deployed to different sectors in the port to ensure that vessels and craft comply with international as well as local rules and regulations, thereby safeguarding life, property and the marine environment. You will also be required to respond to any emergencies as required.You will be given specialised training in enforcement and drone operations as part of your development. The trainings will equip you with the essential skillsets needed to carry out your duties effectively.What we are looking for:Candidates with a keen interest to make a difference to protect and sustain the Singapore maritime ecosystem through enforcement work, application of maritime technology and acquiring a basic understanding of port operations, shipping/marine industry are welcome to apply.
