Collaborating closely with regional finance teams and global stakeholders, you'll ensure timely and accurate reporting, support forecasting processes and drive improvements in our reporting infrastructure.You'll serve as a key liaison for senior management, partnering cross-functionally with teams such as Valuation & Analysis (V&A), FP&A, and Finance Operations (GFO&T) to support effective business steering and decision-making.In this role, you'll benefit from a flexible, hybrid work environment that promotes work-life balance and empowers you to perform at your best.   • Provide financial insights through the quarterly results presentations for our Group valuation, IFRS 17. This will include preparing storylines, commentary and disclosures to facilitate the review sessions with management and the L&H Business Unit CFO
  • Prepare the IFRS 17 quarterly forecasts and reconciliations for L&H Re R&C Asia. Ensuring that material updates are gathered from various teams (V&A, FP&A, GFO&T etc) for the purpose of steering business performance on a timely basis
  • Proactively supporting the yearly Plan process. This entails checking baseline, input of adjustments and preparing disclosures to communicate the Plan to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the extended finance team in Bangalore, leveraging tools and data to build strong narratives.
  • Continuously improve operational efficiency and data quality by optimizing recurring reporting processes.
  • Maintain strong controls to ensure integrity and compliance in financial reporting.
  • Build global connections by working with finance teams across Asia, EMEA, and the Americas.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field and professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, Actuarial)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or Re/insurance; Life & Health reinsurance exposure is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of IFRS (especially IFRS 17) and performance drivers in insurance / reinsurance
  • Strong analytical mindset and storytelling skills-able to explain complex financial topics clearly
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Stargate, and/or data tools
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Proven ability to collaborate across regions and functions
