Job Description:The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on quantum machine learning for fraud detection in finance. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof Paul Griffin from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.Candidate's core responsibilities are:
  • Review QML for fraud detection
  • Design the hybrid quantum/classical process flow
  • Setup the development environment
  • Develop and test the code
  • Report on the results
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in machine learning
  • Proficiency in programming languages Python is required
  • Demonstrated experience and know-how on machine learning
  • Excellent working knowledge of PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
  • Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
  • Applicants with experience of quantum machine learning area will be advantageous
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
