What the role is:You will be part of the finance (business partnering) team, partnered to SFA's Ops Division, to manage day-to-day finance operations and various finance-related processes and projects.Duties
  • Work on the entire end-to-end finance operations processes from budget to payments, collections and receivables, bank processes, grants etc.
  • Leverage technology, such as Gen AI, RPA, etc. to advise and contribute to policy and operational decision-making
  • Institutionalise internal controls and governance structures to safeguard the use of public funds in partnership with external and internal stakeholders
  • Engage stakeholders in discussions relating to finance, policy, and/or operations.
  • Any other duties and ad hoc projects
Requirements​
  • A degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or equivalent.Preferably at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • Meticulous and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Growth mindset, dedicated to continuous learning and improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Knowledge in Power BI is an advantage
  • A good team player and able to work independently

The SFA will serve as the single point of contact for public feedback on food-related issues, and strengthen management of foodborne disease outbreaks to protect public health. The SFA will also facilitate more business-friendly regulations with oversight of all food safety policies and consolidation of food laboratory capabilities to deepen competencies in food diagnostics, and research and development in food safety.
