
Business Development Executive (Yishun)
Job Description

Report to: Manager
Supervise:
Functional Relationships with: Customers, sales customer support, factory, logistics, product marketing, sales strategic planning, etc.
Position Profile:
Based in: Singapore
Job site: Yishun
The successful candidate will: Be responsible for maximizing Murata sales opportunities by promoting product growth and account direction for assigned accounts. Position is accountable for emerging core business creation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- To manage a group of customers assigned by the management and perform sales activities to achieve sales target of the sales division.
- To develop existing Communication Industry customers and to develop new Automotive Industry customers for business revenue expansion.
- To find new opportunities and support customer design in activities. Align with internal Product Team to Conduct Sales Promotion activities to prospective and existing customers.
- To develop and implement business plans to increase share and sales amount for each assigned account.
- Sales activities include pre and post price negotiation activities, sales visits to customer, sales budget planning, monitoring of orders and payment, forecast reports preparation etc.
- To develop multi-level business partnership with each assigned account and strive to achieve high level of customer satisfaction within the customer.
- To work closely with internal functions (like marketing, customer service, logistic, production) to provide high level of sales service to assigned accounts.
Ability / Competency Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or any engineering field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales experience, preferably has electronics industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical, with a flair for numbers.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active.
- Positive attitude in challenging work environment.
- Internal Customer orientation and great problem solving skills required.
- A self starter who enjoys interacting with others.
- Aspire to achieve high level of individual performance along with a desire to serve the customers.
- Ability to perform multi-tasking.
