Broad FunctionThe jobholder is responsible in assisting the nurse educators in the development, implementation and evaluation of continuing nursing education and development programmes. He/she will assist in managing resources and providing leadership to ensure efficient running of Nursing Education & Development operational functions, including special projects.Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesSpecific * Manage training resources and equipment in Nursing Education & Development Unit (NED)
  • Oversee course administration, including elearn management
  • Design, develop and analyse learning records of educational programs
  • Set up and maintain a database which consolidates training record (including learning needs and training attendance) from various sources
  • Provide data and analysis report to nursing supervisors routinely and upon ad hoc request
  • Plan and manage annual budget for Nursing Education & Development Unit with the stakeholders
  • Collaborate with nurse educators to draft and review policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations of NED
  • Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of continuing education programs for all levels of nursing personnel and support care staff
  • Oversee the coordination, facilitation and registration of internal/ external course applications
  • Assume additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned by Senior Nurse Educator, Nurse Educator, Nursing Administrators and Chief Nurse

  • Precept and mentor junior staff. Induct and train new staff
