Job Summary
The Lead Sales & Operations Planning is responsible for planning, executing and delivery of channel sales planning and performance measurement across the designated markets for Apparel & Licensing businesses, ensuring that corporate sales objectives and subsidiary capabilities are profitably aligned. This role will organize, plan, prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously, as well as interacting cross-functionality within the company and with outside stakeholders. This full-time position is based in Singapore reporting to the Manager Sales & Operations Planning (RHQ) for APAC. This role will support the organizations sales of Apparels by analyzing market trends, segmentation, pricing, and portfolio to optimize Harley-Davidson’s competitive positioning in the market.

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary central point of contact and subject matter expert for A&L.
- Acts as a resource for areas of the company that touch the dealer network for A&L.
- Create wholesale sales plans for A&L and P&A and monitor on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to support the Supply, Demand, and Inventory (SD&I) process.
- Monitor retail sales for A&L and provide insights and analytics to RHQ, sales offices in the markets and the field and product sales teams
- Support the product knowledge, pricing, portfolio analysis, selling tool development, program plans and activities consistent with objectives.
- Support product programs and plans for wholesale & retail related activities including product forecasting, sales forecasting, training, technology, tools, and assimilation into management systems, benchmarking, and cross-departmental ambassadorship related to these activities.
- Plan and organize semi-annual Dealer Show in line with new merchandise launches
- Work closely with the Operation Management teams at RHQ and in-market for matters related to inventory management, ordering, invoicing and others where required.
- Act as the main liaison window with the A&L team in the US in areas such as merchandise planning, forecast, ordering, reporting, problem resolution, ideation and more.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and e-Commerce teams to synchronize and evolve existing retail technology plans to advance selling effectiveness.
- Organize staff sales and campaigns to promote A&L sales.
- Semi-Annual Dealer and Show target setting and achievement, A&L
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience in forecasting, demand planning, sales with apparel
- Experience in successfully managing and growing a specialty wholesale and/or retail business a plus
- Welcoming and inclusive interpersonal skills with a strong aptitude for building successful consultative relationships.
- Deep understanding of financial measures, forecasting and other analytical skills is mandatory.
- Exceptional written, presentation and oral communication skills. Proficiency in English is highly preferred. Ability to speak a second Asian language will be a plus.
- Ability to collaborate within a team while exercising independent judgment and initiative.
- Highly self-motivated and directed. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to determine urgency and act upon it in a meaningful and practical way.
- Experience working in a global, matrix environment considered an asset.
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Proficiency in working with SAP is an added advantage
