- Drivers must familiarize themselves with their route assigned before setting off.
- Responsible for the transportation of Health Assistant to their designated destination for the delivery of meals duties to clients.
- Must carry out daily checking of vehicle before proceeding to start journey.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness by carrying out daily maintenance of vehicle.
- Observe road safety and always adhere to traffic rules.
- Assist clients in boarding/alighting from the vehicle (bus) in line with clients' needs, operating wheelchair lift or other mobility devices where necessary.
- Administer safety procedures for clients before and during transportation to ensure safe and secure bus environment.
- Provide quality interaction/transport experiences to clients.
- Escort clients to and from the vehicle, clients' doorsteps, and/or throughout clients' appointments depending on services requirements.
- Provide escort and/or transport services for seniors from their residence to hospitals for medical appointments (i.e. setting of payment, scheduling of future appointments, collection of medicine at pharmacy)
- Promote safety and comfort for seniors by interacting with them while waiting for transport during appointments (i.e. handling wheelchair)
- Provide social monitoring and follow escalation protocol.
- Able to multi-task and is focused in coordinating the tasks on hand to ensure deliverables are met to client satisfaction.
- Minimum GCE ‘O' levels or equivalent.
