About our group:Product & SDO department is a function that focus on managing and improving all related product issues. We ensure all media quality is met through identifying and addressing key gaps and manage qualifications to achieve best-in-class standards. The department collaborates across various organizational units to stay updated on changes and potential issues and explores projects to meet product cost goals.About the role - you will:We are seeking for a highly motivated, energetic with excellent organization skills to assume the position as a Staff Program Manager. Then incumbent will be responsible for managing all existing perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR) products, supporting all key qualifications and improvements to achieve key deliverables.This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director, Program Management, based in Singapore.
  • Responsible for product related issues pertaining to media quality. Identify key gaps with closure plans.
  • Manage all key qualifications to be Best-In-Class, meeting schedule and on-time implementation.
  • Build and maintain good partnership across organization at Recording Media Operations (RMO)/Drive/DC to stay abreast of impending changes and potential issues.
  • Explore and Identify projects to achieve product cost goals.
About you:
  • Degree in Engineering or related disciplines.
  • A team player that is highly independent, resourceful with collaborative behavior and attitude.
  • Possess good interpersonal and effective communication skills.
Your experience includes:
  • Knowledge of media or hard disk drive process.
  • Experienced working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Project management skills.
