Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage the transport team, ensuring high performance and meeting KPI and service delivery levels.
  • Oversee the planning, execution and smooth running of transport fleet operations.
  • Actively support the business development process in growing the business, including contract negotiation, implementation and developing effective transport solutions.
  • Responsible for operational design and costing of solutions
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage transport department P&L, budget and identifying opportunities for cost savings while considering the business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, including working hours, licensing, permits and safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in 3PL, automotive or transport operations management
  • Proven experience in managing large team
  • Strong sense of business and commercial acumen with strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and meticulous with a high degree of drive and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
