F&B OPERATIONS MANAGER

Basic Salary: Up to $4500

Working Days: 6 day (Rest on Weekday)

Working Hour: 11/12 hours per shift

Working Area: Katong and Aljunied

Job Scope

Operations (Primary):

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple F&B outlets, ensuring efficiency, service quality, and SOP compliance.
  • Plan and manage staff rosters to balance manpower and outlet needs.
  • Maintain discipline, provide clear guidance, and uphold performance standards.
  • Be a firm but fair leader — able to make tough decisions and say “No” when needed, while fostering a supportive team environment.
  • Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Finance, and other departments to align on goals.
  • Track KPIs, conduct regular audits, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and manpower regulations.
  • Support hiring, training, and development of frontline staff.
  • Use Excel and MS Office to prepare and analyse operational reports.
  • Promote use of digital systems (POS, HRIS — Infotech experience is a bonus).
  • Willing to work long hours, weekends, and public holidays when needed.

Tenant Acquisition (Secondary):

  • Source and engage potential F&B tenants.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on tenancy agreements, space planning, and concept alignment.
  • Ensure tenant mix fits the brand direction and supports business growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Operations Manager in the F&B industry.
  • Proven success in managing multiple outlets and achieving operational goals.
  • Skilled in staff scheduling, manpower planning, and cost control.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Firm but approachable, able to uphold standards while building a supportive team culture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, email, and other MS Office tools; tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems.
  • Familiar with HRIS platforms (Infotech experience is a bonus).
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese to communicate with Chinese-speaking staff.
  • Willing to work long hours, weekends, and public holidays when needed.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Team player with strong cross-departmental collaboration skills.
  • Good network for hiring and capable of sourcing potential F&B tenants.
