What the role is:To lead and drive strategic partnerships within Singapore's Islamic education ecosystem by fostering meaningful collaborations between madrasahs, Islamic Education Centres and Providers (IECPs), and key stakeholders. The role champions educational excellence by fostering strategic partnerships and community engagement to enhance the quality and accessibility of Islamic education.What you will be working on:Stakeholder Engagement & Community Partnerships
  • Cultivate partnerships with other educational institutions, community organizations, and government bodies to support the development of full-time and part-time madrasahs.
  • Engage with parents, students, and alumni to create a more connected and supportive educational community.
  • Develop community outreach programs to support youth and lifelong learning initiatives.
IECP Partner Engagement and Collaboration
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with IECP partners, facilitating regular discussions on curriculum outcomes and educational standards
  • Create platforms for sharing best practices and organise events (symposiums, workshops) to foster collaboration and innovation in Islamic education
  • Coordinate engagement sessions with IECP partners for feedback and continuous improvement of programmes
What we are looking for:Education and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary education in Islamic Studies, Education, Community Development, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in stakeholder management or partnership development (preferred) - to demonstrate expertise in building and maintaining strategic partnerships and managing diverse stakeholder interests
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in education sector or community partnership roles
  • Experience in Islamic education sector or madrasah environment
  • Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and relationship
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Singapore's Islamic education landscape
  • Excellent stakeholder management and networking abilities
  • Strategic planning and project management capabilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Malay
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and educational standards
Additional Desirable Qualities:
  • Adaptable and innovative mindset
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
