Get to Know the Team

As part of Singapore Operations, the Merchant Operations team represents the voice of our merchant-partners, advocating for solutions that enhance their experience and success on Grab. We work closely with business verticals (GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabPay, OmniCommerce), as well as product, finance, and legal teams to deliver impactful and meaningful solutions. Our role is to localize and optimize platform experiences for merchants and consumers while supporting business growth and cost-efficiency goals.

Get to know the Role

This role ensures a seamless, secure and efficient payment experience for merchant-partners on Grab’s platforms — covering the full spectrum from earnings and payouts to penalties/incentives, billing, reporting and bad debt management. You will be responsible for optimizing payment processes and tools, driving GTM strategies and designing payment frameworks that support business growth while balancing compliance, cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.

This role will report to the Manager, Merchant Operations and be onsite at Singapore Grab office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Own and manage payment policies and processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements while maximizing efficiency and policy effectiveness

Lead country GTM planning and execution for product and business initiatives, ensuring local nuances and operational requirements are addressed

Design and implement end-to-end workflows and support solutions that enhance the merchant payment experience and enable business scalability

Enhance platform governance and experience, actively monitoring and improving interactions across key merchant payment touchpoints

Identify and drive process improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and risk mitigation

Resolve payment-related issues, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to troubleshoot and implement sustainable solutions

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

Bachelor's degree in a related field with strong academic credentials

Minimum of 3 years in operations, payments, or project/program management, preferably in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments

Good understanding of basic accounting and payments principles

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Able to break down complex issues and drive actionable solutions

Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating effectively across teams

Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
